Our latest addition to the family of cake mixes can be prepared in the twinkling of an eye: add butter, eggs and water to the powder, stir well and the dough is ready to be placed in the oven. With its dark chocolate chips, Cake Chocolat is always hugely popular amongst young and old.

Ingredients Chocolate Cake Baking mix

Sugar, wheat flour, cocoa powder 8%, wheat starch, cocoa mass 1.8%, lactose, emulsifiers (mono- und diglycerides of dish fatty acids = E471, lactit acid of mono and diglycerides of dish fatty acids = E472b, polyglycerinester of dish fatty acids = E475, soy lecithin = E322), raising agent (diphosphates = E450, sodium carbonates = E500), cocoa butter 0.5%, glucose syrup, thickener (xanthan = E415), dextrose, skimmed milk powder, iod. table salt, flavouring, turmeric extract.

Preparation

For 1 cake (25 cm): Preheat oven to 180°C (convection oven 160°C). Pour baking mix in a bowl. Add eggs, butter and water and stir with a whisk for 2 min. until the mix has been turned into smooth dough. Put the dought in a greased cake tin dusted with flour. Bake the cake on the lowest rung of the oven for approx. 55 min.
