How to cook the Hunter Sauce from Oswald’s Sauces:

For 2 portions of the Hunter Sauce, dissolve 2 tablespoons of powder (24g) into 200 ml of cold water and bring it to boil, while stirring constantly with the whisk. Let it simmer on a low heat for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. To strengthen the flavour, increase the amount of powder used or alternatively, to weaken the mixture, add more water.

The Hunter Sauce contains wheat flour, mushrooms* 10.4%, tomato powder, onion powder, maltodextrine, maize starch, flavourings (wheat, soy), yeast extract, rapeseed and sunflower oil, iodized table salt, sugar, seasoning (soy), table salt, colouring (E150c), spices, thickener (guar gum), parsley*. *dried.
